Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2022
This October, we are participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2022. A proportion of our sales during the month of October will go to Cancer Care West, a hardworking, regional charity which offers incredible help to those affected by breast cancer.
Over the past few years, we have donated a percentage of funds from the sale of every tin of paint and roll of wallpaper during October to breast cancer charities. We partner with local charities for whom donations make a massive difference to the work they carry out, from practical care to medical services. We are proud to help these charities achieve their ambition of ensuring no one faces breast cancer alone.
Our Creative Director, Ruth Mottershead, writes:
“Whilst there are a number of large charitable organisations doing incredible work raising funds for cancer research, it’s wonderful for us to be able to support such a worthy group of smaller, local charities, who offer much needed help, be that holding hands, lifting spirits or raising funds to build dedicated services for those going through an incredibly traumatic time.”
This year, all proceeds will be donated to Cancer Care West. Cancer Care West provides professional support to those in the community who are going through cancer. Their services include phone calls from nurse specialists, accommodation, cancer support centres and cancer rehabilitation treatments. They provide help and care to individuals and families who are affected by cancer, including breast cancer.
