Explore the collection of eight new wallpaper designs and cultivate interiors that evoke the beauty of the natural world…
We are delighted to introduce ‘In the Garden’, our sixth wallpaper collection created in collaboration with the National Trust, comprising eight eclectic designs. The collection colourfully draws upon the relationship between interior design and the outdoor space, which often defines the character of a locale, building or room.
These beautiful new wallpapers have been inspired by some of the nation’s most-loved gardens, that are cherished and cared for by the National Trust. Grand grounds, humble horticultural collections, individual plants and historical floral artefacts have all provided the source material to create this vibrant collection.
Our Creative Director, Ruth, writes: “It’s a real privilege to be able to work with the National Trust, Europe’s largest conservation charity. Previous collaborative collections have focused on reimagining historic patterns and finding inspiration in interiors and objects within National Trust properties. Our ‘In the Garden’ collection shines a light on the incredible gardens and grounds in the National Trust’s care. Bringing the colour and joy of nature and flowers in bloom, there is something for everyone in this completely eclectic collection. From the simple, often overlooked daisy, to the elaborate, sweeping planting of Sissinghurst Castle.”
A contribution from the sale of every roll of Little Greene wallpaper is made in support of the National Trust’s important work caring for 500 places, including 890 miles of coastline, historic sites, 250,000 hectares of countryside and green spaces, ensuring that people and nature thrive – now and for ever.

Wallpaper: Lily Pads – Hopper, Skirting: Basalt, Wall: Slaked Lime – Mid
Inspired by incredible natural landscapes…
The collection includes two contemporary mural designs that showcase the magnificent natural surroundings of two treasured National Trust properties.
Our vibrant and expansive mural, ‘Castle Garden’ depicts the ‘garden rooms’ of Sissinghurst in Kent. One of England’s most-visited gardens, the grounds were transformed by Vita Sackville-West in the mid-20th century, despite her having no formal training in garden design.

The new ‘Lily Pads’ mural draws inspiration from the 100 acres of lakes which surround the Stackpole Estate in Wales. Here, visitors can spot many forms of wildlife, including the distinctive wild otters which are a charming feature of this wallpaper design.

The light-hearted print, ‘Mr Straw’s Greenhouse’ was inspired by a collection of cacti and succulents belonging to a beloved 1930s grocer in Nottinghamshire. WillIam and Walter Straw’s greenhouse is now looked after by the National Trust, and is still home to an intriguing horticultural collection today.
